400—yards worsted weight yarn. We used Madelinetosh Farm Twist (225yds/125G, 100% Merino Wool):
Color Safety Glass: 2 skeins
- US Size 7 (4.5mm) 32” (81.28 cm) circular knitting needle.
- 1 cable needle
- tapestry needle
Gauge
20 sts, 28 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch on US Size 7 (4.5mm) knitting needle after blocking.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
