Karpalo Hat is wonderfully chunky and fluffy hat that features double folded brim which is worked in half brioche knitting stitch. The hat is worn with the brim folded twice so that the right side of the half-brioche will be visible on the outside. The body of the hat is worked in 1x1 rib stitch. The stitches used in this hat makes it very stretchy and it fits most adult head sizes.

The hat is worked in the round bottom up with two yarns held together. The mohair creates a lovely halo effect and gives extra warmth!

Size: One size (for adult head sizes from 20-23 inches / 51-58.5 cm)

Brim circumference: approx. 19.3 inches / 49 cm
Length: 11.5 inches / 30 cm with brim folded twice

Rowan Kid Classic, 2x (color 847 / Cherry Red) = 306 yds / 280m, Rowan Kidsilk Haze x1 (color 682 / Ruby) = 229 yds / 210m. Both yarns held together throughout the project.

US8 / 5mm 16”/40 cm circular knitting needles & US8 / 5mm double pointed knitting needles
