Kaleidoscope Star is a round ripple that is popular for kids and adults alike. It uses a main solid colour and a variegated contrast yarn, which creates the mutli faceted colours that mimic a kaleidoscope.

The sample shown is 95 cm across point to point after blocking.

However the pattern is a continuous repeat and can be made as large as you like, please note more yarn will be required.

Yarn: Creme De La Creme in Cream (MC) 4 balls and Arizona Ombré (CC) 3 balls.
Needles/hook size: 4.5 mm
Gauge:

12cm = rounds 1-5 as per pattern unblocked.

Stitch abbreviations:

Pm: Place marker
Dc: Double crochet
Sc: Single crochet
Blsc: back loop single crochet
Dc2tog: double crochet two together to decrease.
Ch: Chain
Skp: Skip stitch
Sl st: Slip stitch
Ch-sp: Chain space

You can use any weight yarn you would like meterage will vary.
