The lattice pattern and colourwork design of a starry sky over mountains used in the Jujisei Hat is adapted for use in the Jujisei Mitts. The name Jujisei (十字星) comes from minami jujisei (南十字星), the Japanese name for the Southern Cross. These mitts are designed for the romantic who dreams of holding the starry sky in the hands. The colourwork on each palm is slightly different. Both palms join to make a bigger picture of starry sky over mountains.

They are well suited for when you need to be warm and dexterous. They are simple to work, with an afterthought thumb and no gusset. The pattern benefits from bold colourway, with the light-coloured yarn used as the dominant colour.
