My father held them in his hands this summer
and thought they were a work of art…
as I told him the pattern was about to be published
he was happy for me.

Unfortunately he passed away in September
just before the issue came out.
This pattern will remain special to me
and my wish is for the people who knit them
that they might bring comfort and joy.
