Jackson County
The ribbed brim flows into the cable pattern on the body of this hat. Pattern is written and fully charted for one size that easily stretches to fit most heads. There are 2 options in the pattern. In Option A (shown in tweedy red), the cables twist toward each other; in Option B (shown in Blue), cables twist away from each other.
Gauge for pattern is 2 repeats (48 sts) = 5.25” (13.5 cm)
If you anticipate being short on yarn, work the brim to 2” (5 cm) rather than 4” (10 cm). A gauge swatch and the photographed model were knit with one 231 yard (210 meter) skein, with less than 5 yards (5 meters) left.
Pattern is 5 pages.
