Inside-out Beanie and Mitts
These accessories are reversible. The garter rib edging is worked with WS facing and the stocking st fabric is worked with the knit side facing. When the edging is folded back, the RS of the garter rib edging and the knit side of the stocking st fabric will be facing.
When turned inside out with the edging unfolded, the RS of the garter rib edging will be facing and the main fabric will be the reverse side of the stocking st (purl fabric).
The beanie is knitted in rounds from the bottom edge up with shaping for the crown. It has an extra section of 1 x 1 rib after the garter rib edging. A pompom can be added on completion.
The mitts are knitted in rounds from the bottom edge up, with a thumb opening.
These accessories require average to intermediate knitting skills.
