All of these dishcloth patterns are crocheted with an I / 5.5 mm crochet hook. If I’m being honest, gauge doesn’t really matter when it comes to a dishcloth. So use the hook that gives you the fabric you love. Go up a hook size if you want a larger dishcloth, or go down a hook size if you want a smaller dishcloth.
