One of my favorite things to do is design little skirts for my youngest to wear. :) I’ve had this skirt design on my mind for the past year when I designed the coordinating “Houndstooth” Leg Warmers. I’m so glad I finally finished so that I can share with all of you. :)

Houndstooth Girls Skirt is my Original Design! It is a very versatile skirt as it can be made in any color combo and made to be more dressy or more casual depending on the color, ribbons, appliques etc. My daughter’s favorite thing about this skirt is that the full skirt version “flares up” as she twirls. What little girl doesn’t love that?! :)

This pattern includes 2 options for the skirt: a Full Skirt or an A-line Skirt as shown in the photos above.

Pattern is written in the following sizes:
Newborn - 6 months
6 - 12 months
12 - 24 months
3 - 4 years
5 - 6 years
8 - 10 years
Custom Measurement instructions to create a skirt based on exact measurements, Any size, even Adult!

Stitches used in this pattern are: Ch, Sl St, Sc, Dc, Trc, Sc2tog and there is also a “special stitch” if you choose Option 1 of the waistband but don’t be intimidated as there is a great description and photos to help! :)
