My Aunt Mary used to knit the most beautiful dresses and blankets for our dolls. We treasured them, I still have many of mine. Now I knit for the kids in our family and it makes me feel connected to my past. Maybe one day my own grandchildren will show these items to their children and feel connected to their past. And maybe one or two will learn to knit as well….
