This scarf pattern has been designed especially for fivemoons Comet AMN4 (4ply). Comet AMN4 is a very special yarn, which does not behave like most other 4plys, due to its angora content.

The needle size, 5mm, is correct. This is because Comet AMN4 believes that it is an aran weight yarn. Once you have knitted with it, you will understand why. Brief notes on increasing the length are included in the pattern.

17th Jan 2014 - Sadly, fivemoons ‘comet AMN4’ has been discontinued. Any fuzzy Aran weight yarn should work instead, although the end result may not seem as luxurious. Always remember to swatch to achieve a similar gauge.
