These little Holly decorations can be used to add a handmade touch to gifts, cards, or other decorations. Each only uses a small amount of yarn, so are super projects for using up odds and ends of yarn to avoid waste.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the holly leaves and berry are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle.

One size only - Each leaf is 4.5cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little bit of seaming to finish.
