Holly and Ivy and their friends Carol and Noelle are all dressed up and ready to sing in the school holiday pagent! Hard to believe that their moms all used the same pattern to make their outfits, isn’t it?

Instructions are given for two basic dresses (Holly and Ivy); Carol wears the short version of Ivy’s dress, and Noelle wears the long version of Holly’s dress! Instructions are also included for two different sashes and headbands, and a long and short Holiday Ruffled Petticoat -- as well as simple beaded bracelets!

However, like the girls’ clever moms, you can mix and match components in your choice of ombre and solid-colored thread (long/short skirt, longer/ shorter sleeves, border/collar/sleeve trim in one or two colors, etc.) to create your own variations. You can use bells, beads, ribbons, and other holiday trims to make the dresses as fancy or “everyday” as you wish. You can even use different color combinations for different seasons! The best part is, because of the variations in dye lots, color patterns in variegated or ombre threads will differ from those pictured, and every dress will be unique!

The Holly and Ivy pattern set is worked in size 10 crochet cotton, and fits 18” stuffed bodied little girl dolls.
