Hexaflora
20% off all self-published patterns in my store with code COZY20 until the end of October 12th (CST). No limits.
Hexaflora is a shawl that invites you to pause and reflect. Lace motifs drift across a field of airy stitches, light as autumn leaves carried on the breeze. Knit in blown yarn, a cotton chainette filled with soft baby alpaca, it balances structure with cloud-like fuzz, creating a fabric that feels weightless yet warm. Flecks of cotton peek through the dye, adding quiet depth and dimension.
This is mindful knitting, soothing rhythms, gentle texture, and a design that grows at a peaceful pace. Whether you wear it on crisp mornings or drape it for evening strolls, Hexaflora carries the quiet joy of something made slowly, with care.
Hexaflora is an asymmetrical triangular shawl, worked sideways for an elegant, wearable shape. The design features garter stitch–based lace, worked on both right and wrong sides for balanced texture and airy openness.
Both written instructions and charts are included. The size is easy to customize by repeating the lace sections more or fewer times to create your ideal shawl.
The pattern uses only basic stitches.
