Harvest Mice
Crochet mouse pattern, perfect for autumn/fall! Mini amigurumi mice couple makes a quick stashbuster – use small amounts of any 4ply yarn!
Beginner-friendly Harvest Mice (or rat) toy dolls are an adorable, personal gift for children, or any Mr & Mrs!
Easy-to-follow digital pdf download is easily printable and includes UK & US crochet terms.
KEY FEATURES:
• Forget pumpkins and Halloween, this small and simple pair are the sweetest way to bring colour to the dark days of September, October, November and December.
• DIY softie project includes female mouse and male spouse – they’re quick and customisable so you can create your own unique family of mice!
• Adorable stuffed plush with kawaii cuteness that everyone will love! Perfect little handmade present for kids, a special anniversary, or an animal-lover’s birthday.
• Add extra aww-factor with the hassle-free accessories – the gent’s jacket, lady’s skirt and flower hat are made separately then just placed on.
• Uses tiny amounts of 4ply yarn so it’s a great stashbuster! You only need approx 20m of the two main colours (I used yellow and purple), approx 10m of the four accent colours (beige, red, orange, cream), and small scraps of the three other colours (black, green, pink).
• A4 digital pdf download pattern is available instantly, forever, and is easy to print.
• Pattern is given in UK crochet terms first and then US crochet terms, so you only need to read the section that’s relevant to you.
• Pattern support is available from the designer if you need it – feel free to ask me questions! Pattern includes plenty of photos and an extra tutorial shows how to work invisible decreases.
MORE INFORMATION:
• Beginner-friendly project uses chains, slip stitches, magic loop, UK dc/US sc increases and decreases, UK htr/US hdc, and UK tr/US dc.
• Each finished mouse measures approx 8cm/3in tall and 4cm/1.5in wide – quick to make and you can hold both in your hand!
• Use any 4ply yarn – I used DMC Natura Just Cotton yarn (100% cotton, 50g/155m), shades detailed in the pattern.
• You’ll also need a 3mm (US C/2) hook and some toy stuffing.
DESIGNER INSPIRATION:
Becky Skuse says: “My harvest mice may be small but they’re big on character! My dapper pair are ready for their local harvest festival and have dressed up in their best clothes, made out of autumn’s bountiful offerings, including leaves, flowers and fruits. They’re only small, which makes them quick to crochet, and then you can enjoy adding the extra details that really bring them to life.”
