Gruainne Frock Coat
This is a Frock Coat worked in one piece from the Welt at the Back, incorporating the sleeves and fronts to the bottom front edges. There are 4 different patterns: Linen stitch edges and finishes, Zig Zag travelling lace herringbone, Herringbone and a complex Dropped Stitch Cable. There are 2 pockets and a cross over front with 3 buttons. I have worked 2 balls of the Lalland Lambswool at the same time to make an aran weight yarn….either single colour or 2 different colours held together to make a lovely tweed…. The garment is light to wear with a wonderful swing…the herringbone pattern is incorporated at the dropped waistband as a transition between patterns and for the placing of the pockets.
Small…..to fit 30-32ins.
Medium…to fit 38 - 40ins.
large…….to fit 46-48ins.
