This market bag has been inspired by colour and my love of rainbows and granny squares. It is perfectly sized for shopping, visiting the beach or even to carry your yarn in!

It is made with a variegated cotton yarn in a granny square style that is perfectly on trend for 2022!

I have targeted this pattern at a beginner level, as it is mostly using basic stitches and is in UK terminology.

This document includes a written pattern, guide to construction and photos.

You will need a 4mm Crochet Hook and DK weight cotton yarn, roughly 250 grams. I used 4 x cakes of Rico Ricorumi Spin Spin DK in Classic Rainbow and 2 x balls of Rico Ricorumi DK in Yellow (006).

The finished bag measures 39cm (15.5”) across and 41cm (16”) long (without handle)
