Here’s a special blanket for anyone with ties to the farmland. It has designs for a tractor and barn, as well as multiple farm animals - cows, pigs, sheep, and ducks. Rather that put the animals in rows and boxes, this design tries give a more natural flow of a farm scene.

The background is knit in the stockinette pattern, with a wide seed stitch border. The designs are all done in reverse stockinette, with occasional embellishments of bobbles, picot stitches, and added tails. The pattern has both charts and written instructions for all the design.

Approximately 1000 yards of sport weight yarn was used, on size 6 needles. The finished size is approximately 30”x31”.
