Golden Afternoon
All in the Golden Afternoon……I fondly remember the first time I met Alice. I was about 6 years old and was enjoying a lovely day at Walt Disney World. I sat down on a bench outside of Town Hall and Alice soon joined me. I sat for quite awhile, talking about many things. I was so happy the next day when my new best friend waved at me during the afternoon parade. My cheeks hurt from smiling and ever since that memory has always held a special place in my heart since. I’ve loved watching Alice in Wonderland over the years and reading the story that inspired the Disney version. I’ve always wanted to catch a bread and butterfly or spot a rocking horsesfly. This shawl captures the magic and whimsy of a place down a Rabbit Hole where you always seem to be running late and have to protect your head! I hope that you find yourself smiling as you remember the first time you met Alice or the first time you introduced someone to this magical wonderland!
