Glacier Park is a satisfying knit when you want something uncomplicated to work on that still has a refined elegance. The stranded colorwork uses only 2 colors and the repeats are short, so you can enjoy the pattern as it emerges without worrying about a messy tangle on the back of your work, making it a good project for colorwork newbies. Instructions are given to modify the cowl to be longer or shorter, based on your preference (and the amount of yarn you have on hand!)

Glacier Park is named after the stunning national park in Montana which I was visiting when I created this design.

Finished Measurements: 24” / 61cm circumference, 12” / 30.5cm height (adjustable). Measurements taken after blocking.

Materials:
Yarn: Woolfolk TYND (100% merino wool– 223y per 50g skein): 1 skein each in 2 different colors were used for the sample pictured.

Needles: US 3 / 3.25mm circular

Notions: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge:
28 sts & 34 rows = 4” / 10cm in stranded color work Gauge is not terribly important for this project, just make sure you like the drape and look of your fabric
