Gingerbread House 24, Tree
This is the last in a series of 24 linked patterns, published daily in December 2014, to decorate a knitted Gingerbread House. The last four patterns are for a set of gingerbread ornaments to keep in the house.
This last pattern is for a gingerbread tree ornament. It is about 10 cm / 4” tall and 9 cm / 3½“ wide and, like the other ornaments, can be embroidered or ‘iced’ with knitting. The trees are knitted with ginger DK weight yarn. If you are making the iced version you will also need some 4 ply cream yarn and 2. 25 mm / US size 1 needles.
This pattern also includes instructions for turning the two sets of ornaments into garlands.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them,
please consider making a donation to the British Liver Trust where
the money will go to fund research and support the families of
children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my
fundraising page here
