Growing from a garter tab cast on, this shawl begins with a squishy garter stitch body, moves into twirling cables and finishes off with a cable and lace border reminiscent of open arms awaiting a hug.

A quick and easy shawl which can be knit from a single ball of King Cole Curiosity or similar self-striping or gradient yarn to produce a wonderfully soft and light shawl.

The slightly elongated crescent shape makes it versatile to wear either as a scarf or wrap.
