This cowl is made using both knitting and crochet in the round. Firstly, you cast on and knit 2x2 ribbing then you cast off and use the cast off stitches as a chain to build your crochet onto. I designed the crochet stitches to look like plaid but then, along with the yarn I used, the pattern made me think of waffle cones and the colours of the yarn of gelato!
