This is a truly easy cardigan to knit up – you’ll have the stitch pattern memorized in no time. Instructions are given for both men’s and women’s versions – make a matching set for you and your partner! This is sure to become the cardigan that goes everywhere you do.
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up in pieces, then sewn together.
The stitch pattern is presented in both written and charted formats.

Materials: Worsted weight cotton/acrylic blend:
Women’s Version: 1250 (1350, 1425, 1550, 1700, 1875, 1925, 2100, 2225, 2400, 2475, 2625) yards
Men’s Version: 1375 (1500, 1600, 1750, 1900, 2100, 2225, 2425, 2600, 2800, 2875, 3050) yards
Model knit in Tatamy Tweed Worsted by Kraemer Yarns (40% cotton / 60% acrylic; 100 grams / 180 yards): color #Y1218.
Needles and Notions: One pair size 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE; one pair size 5 (3.75 mm) knitting needles; one size 5 circular needle, 40” long; 7 removable stitch markers; seven 7/8” buttons
Gauge: In Garter Basketweave Pattern, 24 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm, using larger needles.
