Yarn-over increases help create this beautiful openwork shawl. An asymmetric triangle, it grows from the point to your desired width and length.

The size is easily modified with additional yarn, gauge can also be adjusted easily for a more open (or closed) pattern. The sample shawl was knit on size 8 needles.

The super soft Morehouse Merino Lace looks great in both solid or variegated colors. The pattern is written for 3 skeins (3 oz, 660 yards), which will give you a shawl that’s 30” deep and 96” wide.

For a smaller version, try 2 skeins (2 oz, 440 yards) of Morehouse Merino Lace. (Approximate dimensions based on the sample: 26” deep and 80” wide.)
