Gala Crochet
by Cheri McEwen
The shawl may be worked to any desired size. The choice of yarn and hook size are up to you. I have swatched with up to a worsted weight and a “J” hook with good results. The project shown was made using Red Heart “It’s a Wrap” (625 yards) with an “E” 3.25mm hook. I used almost all of the yarn to achieve the size shown. The leaves are surrounded by an undulating “rib” of post stitches which provides a light, airy feeling while also providing a little extra warmth. The pattern is based off of my previously knitted Gala shawl.
