Gabrielle is an elegant sleeveless cardigan with lace panels and a ribbon-tie waist. The lace edging at the bottom creates a romantic scalloped hem. This piece was designed to be completely seamless.

Gabrielle is created in one piece from the bottom up, dividing at the armholes for the back and front pieces to be worked separately. The armbands and neckline are worked into the main pattern, avoiding the need to knit these up at the end.
This pattern requires an understanding of basic knit and purl stitch, simple yarn-over and knit 2 together lace, and joining shoulders with 3 needle bind-off(optional).
