This hat pattern has been test knit here on Ravelry and includes two charts, one for the body and one for the crown shaping.

The Latvian braid delineates the ribbing and the color work in the hat. The body and crown are nice and warm due to the floats on the back of the work.

The stitch markers are shifted once the body of the hat is done in preparation for the crown shaping.

Materials:

• Size 4 US (3.5 mm) circular needle 16” ( 40 cm) long and a set of DPNs in same size for finishing hat crown shaping
• Tapestry needle
• 6 stitch markers
• Plymouth Select Worsted Merino Superwash (100% Superwash fine merino wool; 218 yds/199 m; 3.5 oz/ 100g); Black 135yds/123 m (2.2 oz/62g) Green 52y/47m (1 oz/24g)

Sizes
One size fits 21”/53 cm to 23”/58 cm heads;
Top of cuff to crown = 4 1/2” (11.4cm) ;
Crown depth = 3” (7.6cm)

Easily sized up or down by changing needle size
