Experience Level: Advanced Beginner

From laceweight to extra bulky, this pattern works with them all! Fresh Squeezed is an asymmetric triangular shawl with an eyelet-and-garter ridge stripe pattern. Beginning at the smallest point of the triangle, this shawl increases in length and width as you repeat the simple stitch pattern to your desired length. Slipped stitches up the sides create a tidy finished edge.

Sizing: Variable
The sample shawl measures 33” x 52” x 60

Gauge: Also variable - knit your desired yarn to the recommended gauge or a little bit looser for a nice drape.
The sample shawl gauge is 15 stitches and 24 rows = 4 in pattern stitch.

Needles: Use the needles recommended on your yarn label. Alternately, for a nice drape, use a needle that is one or two sizes bigger than recommended on the yarn label.
The sample shawl was worked on a US 8 (5 mm) knitting needle.

Yarn: Any weight will work.
The sample shawl was worked in DK weight (CYCA #2) - 520 yards for the size shown.

Yarn used in sample is Feederbrook Farms “Entropy DK”. 260 yards per 112g ball. 2 balls used.
