This cowl is crocheted with a half skein each of two colors of Malabrigo Rasta (or another super bulky yarn). It is a close-fitting cowl. If you want something larger, add stitches to your beginning chain in an even number. You will need more yarn.

Some tips to make your joins less obvious:

1. Carry your yarn up the inside of the cowl.
2. Use the new color to make the final slip stitch join at the end of the round

The joins will spiral up the cowl but shouldn’t be obvious if you use the above tips which are also listed on the pattern.
