This crochet football hat is available in newborn baby to adult sizes. If you’re familiar with crochet beanies, this is just a basic hdc hat. I added one little technique to the white stripes which really makes them stand out! I’ve detailed how to do it in the notes and pattern below, in case it’s a new technique for you. And I’m always happy to answer any questions!

I’ve included measurements for the crown circle under each pattern size, and the hat height at the end. You want your hat to fit, so if you’re gauge is off be sure to adjust your hook size.

Materials:

100-250 yds #4 med worsted weight yarn, I used Red Heart with Love* in Brown and White

5mm (H) hook, or hook necessary for gauge

yarn needle and scissors

Rounds 1-6 = 4.25” diameter
