Fluffy Duck dress is a delightful little girl’s dress featuring a decorative cable panel on the fitted bodice, mini cable waist band and flared skirt with contrast bands of colour.

Starting at the hem and knitted in the round, the skirt is shaped by decreasing at regular intervals, the decreases hidden in the fluffy bands. The cable effect does not involve cable needles and is easy to do. The front and back are shaped separately before being sewn together and finished with a decorative stretchy bind off at the neck.

The main picture shows the 18 - 24 month size which used one full skein of IFW silk sock and a part ball of Drops Kid Silk. Any light sock yarn would be ideal for this project. The other pictures are from the test knitters who used the following yarns:
