Flower Dress with Petals
Designed as a photo prop, the dress will fit 0-6 months with a chest size of approximately 40 cm (16”) and a finished length of 25 cm (10”).
The length is measured from the neck to the petal tip. Curling of the petals will occur and reduce the overall length.
This pattern was created at the request of a wonderful lady who wanted a newborn dress for her new granddaughter to compliment the flower fairy hat or multi-size fairy hat.
YOU WILL NEED 150 - 200 m green double knitting yarn for bodice and 300 - 350 m of flower coloured double knitting yarn for petals, a 3.50 mm hook, a 3.00 mm hook, 3 buttons sized to fit through trebles in button band, 4 x stitch markers and a needle for neatening ends and seaming.
There are 10 x 6cm (2½”) seams and 3 x buttons to be stitched in place for this project.
