How about adding lace to Fair Isle? Well, yes, you’ll be able to accomplish that in this lovely fingerless mitt pattern.

Two sizes are included. Size small uses size US 1/2.25mm double pointed knitting needles and size large uses size US 1.5/2.5mm double pointed knitting needles. These work up fairly quickly. They will make great gifts!

It uses fingering weight yarn (I chose Knit Picks Palette) and for durability, a nice firm gauge. The colorwork is easy and stranded. The lace sections are also easy as lace goes. The lace and Fair Isle colorwork are charted with complete directions included for working from the easy to read chart.

There is textural interest added to the striped ribbing to make this an even more jazzy pattern!
