’Flake’ is a raglan cardigan worked seamlessly from the top down. It’s a quick knit in stockinette stitch and an easy and striking pattern (I promise, you’ll love it!).

The body of the sample is slightly cropped but can be made any length. In case you add additional length, please plan to purchase more yarn!
The neckline is shaped with short rows. After completing the raglan increases, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked to the hem. The sleeve stitches are picked up again and worked top down in the round to the end. The final touch are the bands, that are picked up and knitted.

The sweater is designed to be worn with 5-10 cm / 2-4” of positive ease. The positive ease is already built into each size. Shown in size S.

Needles
4.0 mm (US 6) 80 cm (32”) circular needles for body.
4.0 mm (US 6) DPNs for sleeves.
3.5 mm (US 4) 80 cm (32”) circular needle for neckband ribbing and bands.
3.5 mm (US 4) DPNs for sleeves ribbing.

Gauge
20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) in Stockinette stitch using 4.0 mm (US 6) needles, after blocking.

‘Flake’ ist eine Jacke mit Raglanärmeln, die nahtlos von oben gestrickt wird. Das Stricken in Glattrechts und besonders das dezente Muster gehen schnell von der Hand (ich verspreche, du wirst es lieben!).

Die Länge der Jacke ist leicht hüfthoch, kann aber sehr einfach angepasst werden. Im Fall von zusätzlicher Länge bitte mehr Garn einplanen!
Der Ausschnitt wird mit verkürzten Reihen gearbeitet. Nach den beendeten Raglanzunahmen werden die Ärmelmaschen stillgelegt und der Body bis zum Rand gestrickt. Die Ärmelmaschen werden wieder aufgenommen und in Runden bis zum Rand gestrickt. Zum Abschluss werden die Maschen für die Bänder aufgenommen und gestrickt.
