Fishtales Shawl
Join me in my group, Heather Anderson Designs, and let’s knit!
Choices abound with this versatile shawl pattern. Yarn weight, size, and edging style are all up to you! First, the triangular body is knit from the bottom up and bound off. After that, you’ll scoop up the yarn overs around the edge of the shawl and knit the edging side to side.
Any weight yarn may be used for this project. You should choose a needle that gives you the fabric drape you desire. Yardage requirements will change if you change the yarn weight and needle size. However, if you use no more than 55% of the yarn for the body, you will have enough left for the edging.
