Fine Tune
Interpretations is the first design collaboration between Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki; a magical collection featuring 12 patterns.
Brightly colored stripes rhythmically added to this simple but striking accessory. Fine Tune is worked lengthwise, in garter stitch, using short rows. Choose your main yarn and your favorite leftovers for this, since you will only need a few yards of each contrasting color.
Finished Measurements:
10½” 26 cm wide and 57½” 144 cm long loop.
Materials:
Yarn:
MC: 2 skeins of Merino Fingering by French Market Fibers (100% Merino; 400 yards 363m per 100g skein). Approx. 650 yards. Shown in colorway On the Ghost Tour.
CC: You will need approx. 200 yards of CC, divided into 4 colors. Shown in: CC1 (pink): Malabrigo Sock – Light of Love.
CC2 (teal): Merino Lace by The Uncommon Thread (doubled) – Pontus. CC3 (yellow): BFL sock by The Uncommon Thread – Golden Praline. CC4 (charcoal): BFL sock by Lioness Arts - Hortense
Needles: US 4 3.5mm needles.
Gauge:
23 stitches and 40 rows to 4 inches 10 cm in garter st.
Gauge is not crucial for this project. However, changes might result in a different yardage requirement.
