Fields of Summer Socks
Size:
37-38 (39-40) 41-42 (43-44)
Size depends on gauge. Gauge used to make these instructions is 10x10cm = 32 sts, 34 rows. If your gauge differs remarkably, consider using different needle size or modify the model.
On the socks the circumference of leg is approximately 20-21 (23-24) 25-26 (27-28) cm and circumference of foot 17-18 (20-21) 22-23 (24-25) cm. Length of the leg is about 20 cm.
The design is constructed the way, that if you need to make a wider sock, you can choose a bigger size and just knit it bit shorter, no need for you to count and modify the pattern yourself :)
Yarn:
Sandnes Garn Sisu:
C1 35-45g 9041 Light Green
C2 35-45g 1001 White
C3 25-35g 4012 Light Rose
Or other yarn the same thickness (175 m/ 50 g).
If you would like to choose your own colors, make sure that main color and contrast color differ enough from each other. One way to ensure that the pattern is visible, is to take picture from yarns you would like to use, turn picture into black and white. If you see the difference, there is a good chance that the pattern stands out just fine. To make sure, knit a test piece.
Needles:
2,5mm – 3,0mm DPNs or size required to get gauge right
You also need:
Blunt sewing needle
Stitch markers
Other notes:
The socks are worked from the cuff to toe, the beginning of the round is behind the leg and on the sole.
The instructions are made for knitting with 4 double pointed needles.

Hope You enjoy knitting my design!
This pattern was constructed in a slightly different way than the previous ones. My previous designs have mainly consisted of small parts towards the result. In these, I had a very strong mind with the whole and even the colors, into which I then began to design the details.
I think they became harmonious, which in addition to the delicate result is really fun to knit as well.
I wish you harmonious and summery knitting moments!
