Festival Clutch
The Festival Clutch can be used to hold your essentials for running errands, for a night out or as a project bag. The metal frame and felt lining (see pattern notes) allows the bag to sit upright when open. Perfect for carrying your knitting project, your day or evening essentials such as purse, phone, lipstick etc. Beads are added using the crochet hook method.

Materials:
Hjertegarn Merino Cotton (DK; 50% superwash wool/50% cotton;120m/131yds per 50g ball) x 2 balls. Shown in shade: 9130 Magenta
3.25mm (UK 10/US 3) circular needles (60cm/24in long)
Debbie Abrahams Seed Beads size 6. Colour 224 Velvet x 903 beads (2 bags)
0.75mm (US 14) crochet hook
Tubular clutch frame, 8x15cm/3¼x6in
55x35cm/22x14in felt fabric or cotton fabric with interfacing (see pattern notes)
Basic sewing kit (needle or a sewing machine, pins)
Size:
Width: 16cm/6½in
Depth: 8cm/3¼in
Height: 18cm/7¼in
Tension:
24 sts and 34 rounds over 10cm/4in in Stocking Stitch worked in the round after steam pressing.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the final size and amount of yarn used.
