The beanie is made using double knitting technique.

Yarn
For an airy look recommend combining a smooth yarn (e.g. merino) with a fuzzy one (e.g. angora, mohair held double, etc.).

Needles: 3,5 mm circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge), for working the hat, and 3 mm circular needles (or needles one size smaller than your
working needles) for casting on.

Children (XS): 52-54cm/20.5-21.3” circumference; 24 cm/9.5” deep
Adults: M 55-57cm/21.7-22.5” circ.; L 58-60 cm/ 22.8-23.6” circ.; both 26 cm/10” deep
