The Faux Isle Hat is a slouchie hat that features a Winter inspired Fair Isle pattern of trees, arrows and slow flakes. The hat is knit in the round from the brim to the top in one solid color and one self-striping yarn. The pattern includes four size options as well as written and charted instructions.

What is Faux Isle? It is a new term for Fair Isle knitting when one yarn is a self-striping or self-patterning yarn while the other is a solid color. The two create a unique color story together throughout the hat. The best part is, you will only have two yarns to knit with and limited ends to weave in.
