Small, but no less fancy pants with matching stripes, deep ribbed waistband, and relaxed fit for comfort

Fancy pants are worked seamlessly in the round from the top down, starting with Italian CO for 1x1 rib, rearranged into 2x2 rib for the waistband. The waistband and rise are worked with 2 cakes, alternating them each round to achieve more even striping throughout.
After the ribbed waistband, German short rows are worked for a slightly higher back. The rise is worked in stockinette, first even, then increasing down the center front and back for hips.

Modified Three-needle Bind Off technique is used to bind off stitches for the crotch. Legs are divided, each worked with a separate cake, shaped with decreases to taper down to the ankles. Cuffs are finished with 2x2 rib.

The pattern includes Italian Cast On and Modified Three-needle Bind Off photo tutorials.
