This shawlette is my first ever design. I didn’t know about shape, about yardage, about needle size… I just closed my eyes and knew what it should look like. So I took my needles, the first yarn my hands found and I knitted. I went bold, challenged myself and was genuinely surprise by the result.

Now that I have a little bit more knowledge I went back to it and rewrote it for your own pleasure. The pattern has written and charted description to please all of you.

This shawlette is a fast, easy and highly adaptable to your own taste.

It will be a perfect Christmas gift even for a slow knitter.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 16 rows in garter stitch
