Fallen Oak
Fallen Oak is a stranded colorwork hat that is knit from the bottom up using two main colors of Malabrigo Rios and a third color that provides flecks of color pops throughout the pattern.
A fairly quick knit, Fallen Oak also makes for a great introduction to colorwork knitting. Knit seamlessly in the round, the body of the hat is charted and has written instructions on the crown decreases.
With instructions given for various gauges and hat sizes, as well as charts to correspond to your size, Fallen Oak is a great gift knit for family and friends, and depending on the size you choose, you have the option of making multiple hats using just three skeins. Great for the upcoming season!
