A fun and easy pattern to make with options to vary petal shape and texture. This pattern has a simple 3 round repeat, so the item can be sized to the individual’s preference.

Make a blanket, a cushion cover or a floor rug (with double strand).

Any yarn fibre type and any ply can be used, however it is recommended that yarn that yields a good stitch definition is used.

• There are three files available for download. The detailed instructions are recommended for beginners. The condensed instructions are more ink friendly, particularly if omitting the tutorial images from printing. The simplified charts are an addition to the written file (to assist with understanding of the written instructions) but are not required for item construction.
• The Repeats Table - Example Blanket provides instructions to make a blanket exactly as per the blanket in the image. I have used stitching in the back of stitch (3rd loop) and back loop only on certain designated rounds. However, the pattern has been written such that you can customise your own blanket size, colours and textural effects.
