Shortie socks are always my go-to: they’re so quick, satisfying, and so very wearable! This toe-up sock pattern has a cute little textured pattern throughout, a short row heel, and an adorable ruffled edge!

This pattern was featured in the May 2019 Sock Crush Box and in Yarniverse Magazine
Update July 2019: Added a second PDF in Woolfield formatting! Pattern is the same. Feel free to work from whichever you prefer.

DETAILS:

Skill Level: Easy (basic sock techniques required)

Craft: Knitting

Skills required: Knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing, German short rows, knitted cast on, picot bind off.

Requires: One 100g skein of sock yarn (however, shortie socks typically use about 50g in my experience)

Sample uses: Essence of Autumn Prairie Sock in Spring in Autumn

Like any of my patterns, you can use any sock yarn that fits your style and budget! Need help finding a suitable yarn? Check out my Tips and Tricks for yarn substitution!

This pattern contains three sizes. Finished socks will fit most teen - adult feet.

The pattern can be easily adapted into a mid-calf sock by adjusting the number of pattern repeats you do. If you’d like to increase the width of the calf, you can simply increase in multiples of 4.

Please message me if I can help with your modifications.
