There have been inquiries from many knitters to publish this pattern. However, this pattern is designed without all of the Swing-Knitting™ terminology and without using the marking system in the technique.

The original Swing Knits® Lesson One will continue to be a primer for my Swing-Knitting™ classes.

The yarn yardage in this pattern will create a six foot scarf using one ball of Zauberball and Lifestyle. If a cowl is desired, obviously the yardage will be less.

Quite frankly, any weight yarn can be used. Over time, a DK or worsted weight tends to create a nice result. Shawl pins, buttons, and in this case, Jul Designs, Pedestal Buttons were used to accentuate the cowls. Ultimately the knitter is the designer and can choose whatever yarn is desired. Moreover, this project can be a fabulous “stash buster!”
