This sweater is a drop shoulder fair isle sweater designed with a classic fit in mind. It is knit starting with the body, bottom-up, and in the round with steeks for the armholes and neck. The shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off, and then the steeks are cut open. The sleeves are knit by picking up stitches at the armhole and knitting top down in the round. The collar is then knit by picking up stitches around where the neck steek is cut open.

Sizes are for a 28, 32, 36 (40, 44, 48) 52, 56, 60“ bust with approx. -2 through +2” of ease around the chest. The original sample is a size 3 worn on someone who has a 38” bust
