Creating a commotion in the ocean, it’s your new pocket-sized pal, Eric the starfish! At 13cm/5⅛inch in diameter, Eric can be made in just a few hours. Even better, there’s no sewing. That’s right – no sewing! Eric’s body is worked in two pieces, which are slip stitched together with glitzy goldfingering. Then all you need to do is snip a super-cute smile from stiffened felt and – voilà! – your starfish is ready to make a splash. Add a hanging cord and your aquatic acquaintance also doubles as a dinky decoration!

You’ll be pleased to know that this pattern has been reviewed by a professional technical editor to ensure that it’s super-easy to follow!

The boring bit…
This pattern is intended for personal use so it’s fine to print it out but please don’t sell it, share it on the internet or make multiple copies. What you can sell (more money for yarn – YAY!) is finished items made from this pattern so long as you’ve made them yourself and it’s not on a commercial basis. Please remember to credit me as the designer!

And finally…

I’d love to see your finished starfish so please share him on Facebook, Instagram and here on Ravelry!
