Ene Bluse
Size: a (b) c (d) e (f) g (h).
Your bust circumference: 80 (90) 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 (150) cm
Full length, measured from the shoulder and downwards: 51 (52) 53 (54) 55 (56) 57 (58) cm.
Positive ease: This blouse has a a fitted yoke without any ease, whilst the body and sleeves have free width. When deciding which size to knit, choose the one which corresponds to your own actual bust circumference, and choose the smaller size if in between sizes.
Gauge: 2 needle sizes are used, when knitting the blouse.
Edges: 18 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch at needle size 5 mm.
Body and sleeves: 13 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch at needle size 8 mm.
Needles: Circular needles 5 and 8 mm (the lengths 60 and 80 cm are recommended).
Yarn: The blouse is knitted with 2 threads held together.
1st thread: “Snefnug Natur”, CaMaRose (110 m per 50 g), “Nougat”, 7103.
2nd thread: “Månestråle”, CaMaRose (200 m per 25 g), “Lysebrun”, 9024.
Amount:
1st thread: 450 (450) 500 (550) 600 (650) 700 (700) g.
2nd thread: 125 (125) 150 (150) 175 (175) 200 (200) g.
Other: 1 mm elastic band for the shoulders.
Method: The blouse is knitted top-down in the round, in reverse Stockinette Stitch.
First, the narrow and double layered yoke of the blouse is knitted in Stockinette Stitch, and then a series of increases are made to create the volume of the body. Hereafter, stitches are picked up along the edge of the yoke for the sleeves, which also are voluminous and knitted in reverse Stockinette Stitch. To finish the blouse, a thin elastic thread is inserted into the shoulder edge, to secure the right fit.
